Even though I had issues with the adaptation, I really quite enjoyed the version of Pride and Prejudice that Joe Wright and Keira Knightley made together in 2005. Atonement looks like it's going to exceed that film in the quality of performance and execution by a factor of about 14 times awesome-and-heartbreaking.
