At some point, I will have to write about why I love "Emancipation", which is widely considered one of the worst STARGATE SG-1 episodes of all time (short version - the episode lays down a boatload of fairly awesome character beats that resonate for the rest of the series (as well as a few I could do without) and Sam Carter is awesome).
